It’s open internationally. Just click the link below to be taken to the giveaway (my blog doesn’t like HTML so it wont show the widget, unfortunately).
Title: Roused (Moon Called, #2)
Author: Lilou Roux
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Release Date: 20th October 2013
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
I read and reviewed book one in the series, Drawn, here. (My reviews have improved a bit since then 🙂 )
Hell-bent on getting her sister Tess out of the clutches of what can only be a weirdo-cult Erin Wright travels all the way to Montana. Upon arrival she ignores the beautiful setting and the tug of longing in the pit of her stomach. Though most of all she tries to ignore the hot guy who opens the door.
Erin is determined to keep Seth from getting under her skin and the Hawkins family and their magic out of her heart, but that’s easier said than done …
18+, contains graphic sex scenes
So this one follows Erin, the old sister of the two, and how she follows her sister, Tess, across the country worrying her sister may have gone a little mad, wanting to marry a man she’s known for such a short time.
Erin is fiery and doesn’t mess around with words. She tells people what she thinks and wants and has never met anyone who stands up to her. Until she meets Seth. He knocks her down a few pegs with his flirty attitude and she finds herself wanting him, almost as much as he seems to want her, but she holds back.
I have to say I liked Seth, he’s sort of gentle in his seduction of her. He doesn’t push her into anything but he wants answers as to why she keeps turning him down when he realises there’s a definite reason behind it.
It was a sweet story of overcoming fears and finding yourself again after suffering at the hands of someone else.
Lilou Roux is giving 5 lucky people the chance to win an ebook copy of both books in the Moon Claimed series, Drawn and Roused. All you have to do is enter on the Rafflecopter giveaway below (unfortunately the entry form wont work on my blog but if you click on the link below, it will take you to the giveaway).
…from a couple of things.
One: ARC’s. I haven’t requested any new ones from NetGalley in an attempt to try and work my way through the list of books on my Kindle. The number is still in the 700’s and though I have cut down on buying new one’s it still happens every so often when I cant resist a book that’s price has reduced that’s on my wish-list. If you are on GoodReads you can view my list here. If not, then I’m sure you can imagine how long it is.
Two: Wolf Claimed. It’s kinda hit a bit of a brick-wall. I’m sure it’ll all come back to me soon but for the time being it’s on hold. Instead I’m concentrating on other stories and working my way through both my paperbacks and kindle stories (one of each at a time). Finger’s crossed I’ll have good news for you in the next blog post.
Ciao for now 🙂
So these four books are the only ARC’s I have left to read. Hopefully I’ll read them in the order above but with me, you never know. Trace Elements was only downloaded today, while I’ve had Charming and Viral Nation a while. Bound by Night is about a week old in my to-be-read list. Just thought I’d update you on the reviewing aspect of the blog.
For those interested in Wolf Claimed the current word count is: 9506 😀
…to only review the books that I’ve received as ARC’s or gifted through the Goodread’s group – New Adult Book Club’s – Read it Review it program. This is just because I have over 700 books to read, most on my kindle and a handful of paperbacks and it would completely take over my blog.
So far I’ve received/been gifted the following titles, which all fall under the New Adult genre of books:
So far I’ve read and reviewed two books, Soul Stripper and No Flowers Required, neither of which were New Adult. One was a paranormal/mystery/romance and the other was a contemporary romance erotica.
I’ll be reviewing the books mentioned above as soon as I read them and hopefully in the future I’ll receive more great books 🙂
